四面文殊普賢銅佛像

文殊菩薩又稱文殊師利、曼殊室利、法王子。文殊菩薩與普賢菩薩同為釋迦牟尼佛左右脅侍，世稱華嚴三圣。文殊普賢銅佛像應化道場為山西五臺山。

依照佛教典籍所載，文殊菩薩是過去世無量諸佛的老師，曾經引導無數的修行者證得佛果。在《放缽經》中，佛陀也說：今我得以成佛，都是文殊菩薩的恩德！過去無數諸佛，也都是文殊師利弟子，未來當成佛者，也都是文殊菩薩威神力所致。就好像世間的小孩有父母一樣，文殊菩薩是一切眾生在佛道中的父母。

According to Buddhist scriptures, Manjusri is the teacher of countless Buddhas who have passed away and has guided countless practitioners to attain the Buddha fruit. In the "Fangbo Sutra", Buddha also said: Today I have become a Buddha, all is the kindness of Manjusri Bodhisattva! In the past, countless Buddhas were disciples of Manjusri, and future Buddhas were also the result of Manjusri's divine power. Just as children in the world have parents, Manjusri Bodhisattva is the parent of all living beings in the Buddha Way.

文殊菩薩常與普賢菩薩同侍釋迦牟尼佛，是釋迦牟尼佛所有菩薩弟子中的上首，所以又稱為文殊師利法王子。文殊菩薩形象則為仗劍騎獅之像，代表著其法門的銳利，以右手執金剛寶劍，斷一切眾生的煩惱，以無畏的獅子吼震醒沉迷的眾生，這是文殊菩薩的基本形象。

Manjusri Bodhisattva often attended Shakyamuni Buddha with Pusane Bodhisattva. He was the first of all the Bodhisattva disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha, so he was also called Prince Manjusri. The image of Manjusri Bodhisattva is the image of riding a lion with a sword, which represents the sharpness of his method. Holding the sword of Vajra in his right hand, he weans off all the troubles of all sentient beings and wakes up the obsessed sentient beings with the fearless roar of a lion. This is the basic image of Manjusri Bodhisattva.

文殊菩薩也是我國四大菩薩之一，雖然文殊菩薩在我國沒有觀音菩薩那么被信仰的普遍，可是我國很多地方也都供奉文殊菩薩，每年前來參拜文殊菩薩的人也是有很多。文殊菩薩通常都是以騎乘獅子的形象出現。
